The early Christian interpretation of the Old Testament, relationship between the Septuagint and Hebrew text, prophetic books, priestly tradition, biblical theology of exile, disability studies in the Hebrew Bible, and Bible as traumatic literature.

簡介

Ka Leung Wong received his BA in mathematics and a postgraduate diploma in education from the University of Hong Kong. He served as a secondary school teacher for some years before taking up philosophy and theology at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Catholic University of Louvain) in Belgium. His research on the Book of Ezekiel was awarded the doctorate degree by the University of Edinburgh. He joined CGST in 2000 and was appointed Chan Chu So Wah Professor of Biblical Studies in 2011. His research interest covers the early Christian interpretation of the Old Testament, relationship between the Septuagint and Hebrew text, prophetic books, priestly tradition, biblical theology of exile, disability studies in the Hebrew Bible, and Bible as traumatic literature.
