The Library has adopted Aleph Integrated Library System and Easy Search (Primo discovery tool) since 2014. Primo is an adviance one-stop solution for the discovery and delivery of local and remote resources, such as books, journal articles, and digital objects. Primo assists libraries in exposing the richness of their collections and engaging users with an up-to-date discovery and delivery experience.
The CGST Library is located on the 1st and 2nd floor of Devon Road Campus. Occupying the entire level, with an area of approximately 640 square meters (including 50 square meters for outdoor reading area), the Library provides about 64 study spaces for users. The CGST Library collection currently consists of approximately 117,000 items; include more than 530 academic periodicals/magazines (over 240 current issues). Our library collection includes the Special Collection, "Culture Collection", on Chinese Religion & Culture acquired in the year 2000, with over 8,000 volumes of books and over 330 titles of back issues of periodicals, which has enriched our collection in Chinese culture, history and religion.
Ebsco –《Religion and Philosophy Collection》: Over 200 full text journals titles. 《ATLA Religion Database with ATLASerials Puls》: Over 450 full text journal titles, 2,200 journal titles and 940 journals to be continued indexing. PsycARTICLES: Over 110 full text journal titles. In addition, ATLA is merging the ATLA Catholic Periodical and Literature Index, which will enhance addition of more than 500,000 records.《Wilson OmniFile Full Text Select》: More than 2,900 full text journal titles cover different subjects, convenient for users with inquiries in areas that cross disciplines. Comprehensive indexing databases include:《Old Testament Abstracts》,《New Testament Abstracts》,《Catholic Periodical and Literature Index》, 《European Views of the Americas: 1493 to 1750》, 《American Doctoral Dissertations, 1933 - 1955》, 《Teacher Reference Center》,《ERIC》,《LISA》and《GreenFile》.
Cengage –《InfoTrac Religion & Social Science》: includes over 200 full text journal titles and 240 journal titles for indexing.
Sabinet –《SA e Publications - Religion Collection》: over 290 full text journal titles from South Africa.
Archives Unbound (Cengage)– complete set of full text journals:《Chinese Recorder and the Protestant Missionary Community in China》(1867-1941). The Chinese Recorder is regarded today as one of the most valuable sources for studying the missionary movement in China and its influence on Western relations with and perceptions of the Far East.
Modern-History-Institute Bulletin, SINCIA – complete set of bulletin since 1969 to the latest issue.
Individual on-line journals – over 330 full text journal titles.
Gale: China and the Modern World: Missionary, Sinology and Literary Periodicals – Total 17 full text journal titles.
eLibrary – over 60 full text journal titles.

Brill - 《Dead Sea Scrolls Electronic LIbrary》 : based on the CD-ROM published in 2006, presents a complete Hebrew transcription and English translation of the Biblical texts, together with high-resolution images, including Qumran biblical scrolls, texts from the Judaean Desert and biblical manuscripts.
The Digital Loeb Classical Library : over 520 electronic titles with written treasures of the ancient Greek and Roman world, providing Greek and Latin texts alongside English translations.

We have subscribed RefWorks, which is an online research management software, provides writing and collaboration tool for creating comprehensive footnotes and bibliographies for research. In addition, we have subscribed OCLC first search service in 《ATLA Group Catalog》 indexing and 《WorldCat》which provide global network of library catalog.
In addition, the "Library Information Network" of CGST has been established for users to retrieve library resources, online periodicals, databases and other Internet resources via the "CGST eLearning Portal" or "eCampus".
CGST Library is one of the five members of the Ecumenical Information Network (EIN). Other EIN member libraries include:

EIN Library Union Catalogue is the largest theological library catalogue in Hong Kong. At present, EIN has 5 member libraries and the EIN Library Union Catalogue has over 380,000 records of which the Chinese theological library catalogue is the largest in the world. Inter-library loan and document delivery services are available to the users of EIN member libraries.
